Taquaritinga do Norte – Morre ex-vereador Dé Cumaru

Faleceu na manhã desta segunda-feira, dia 11, em sua residência, vítima de um infarto fulminante, o ex-vereador nortetaquaritinguense Dé Cumaru. Afastado das disputas eleitorais desde o ano de 2020, Dé Cumaru dedicou seus últimos anos de vida a carreira política do seu neto, o vereador reeleito na eleição deste ano, Guilherme Cumaru.

Ao longo de sua vida como homem público, Dé Cumaru militou por anos ao lado do ex-prefeito Jânio Arruda. Eles mantiveram uma longa parceria política, que foi pautada pela amizade e lealdade entre ambos. Dé exerceu o papel de um dos principais nomes do partido Boca-Preta na cena política da Capital do Café.

Na eleição deste ano, no entanto, Dé e o seu neto, Guilherme, declararam apoio a candidatura a prefeito de Gena Lins, do PP. Dé entrou de corpo e alma na campanha de Gena, sendo visto como uma peça essencial na construção do discurso do pepista, que pregou uma ‘política além dos tradicionais grupos políticos locais’.

Dé parte, mas deixa um legado de honestidade e inteligência política. Deixa com o seu neto a responsabilidade de honrar o seu nome e sua história como homem público de Taquaritinga do Norte.
