Nesta segunda-feira (08/04), a Secretária de Desenvolvimento Social e Direitos Humanos de Olinda, Andréa de Paula, se despediu de sua equipe na sede da Secretaria, acompanhada do Prefeito Professor Lupércio e de sua mãe, Patrícia de Paula. O motivo da despedida é a sua candidatura nas eleições de 2024, onde concorrerá na cidade do Recife.
Durante a cerimônia de despedida, o Secretário Executivo de Assistência Social, Fernando Freire, destacou a importância do trabalho de Andréa de Paula, ressaltando sua dedicação em cuidar das pessoas e seu papel na construção humana dentro da Secretaria. Em seu depoimento emocionado, Andréa expressou sua gratidão pela oportunidade de atuar em Olinda e reiterou seu compromisso em continuar lutando pelos menos favorecidos.
O prefeito Professor Lupércio enfatizou a humanidade e o respeito pelas pessoas como características fundamentais de Andréa, destacando sua escolha para assumir a pasta. Lupércio desejou sucesso à secretária em sua nova missão, ressaltando sua confiança no talento e na capacidade de desenvolvimento de Andréa na cidade do Recife. Até o momento, não foi divulgado o nome do novo secretário que assumirá a pasta deixada por Andréa de Paula.
