Redução do IPVA implementada pelo Governo Raquel Lyra resulta em economia de R$ 504 milhões para motoristas pernambucanos

O Governo de Pernambuco, liderado pela governadora Raquel Lyra, implementou uma medida que reduziu a alíquota do Imposto sobre a Propriedade de Veículos Automotores (IPVA), resultando em uma economia significativa para os motoristas do estado. A iniciativa, aprovada pela Assembleia Legislativa do Estado de Pernambuco (Alepe) em setembro de 2023, já gerou uma economia de R$ 504 milhões no montante pago pelos proprietários de veículos matriculados em Pernambuco.

No primeiro trimestre de 2024, a arrecadação do IPVA foi de R$ 886 milhões, uma diminuição de 36% em comparação com o montante de R$ 1,39 bilhão arrecadado nos meses de janeiro a março de 2023. Essa redução na arrecadação é resultado direto da atualização da tabela e da nova alíquota de 2,4%, que estabeleceu o IPVA mais baixo da região Nordeste para Pernambuco.

A redução das alíquotas do IPVA foi uma promessa da governadora Raquel Lyra, que se comprometeu a aliviar o peso financeiro dos motoristas pernambucanos. Além da diminuição do imposto, a medida também oferece a possibilidade de parcelamento em até dez vezes, facilitando o pagamento para os contribuintes.

“A redução das alíquotas do IPVA foi um compromisso assumido pela governadora Raquel Lyra. Uma medida que já demonstra um resultado expressivo, com meio bilhão de reais economizado pelos motoristas pernambucanos”, destacou o secretário da Fazenda, Wilson José de Paula.

Com essa iniciativa, Pernambuco deixa de ter o IPVA mais alto do país e oferece um alívio financeiro para as famílias pernambucanas. A medida também contribui para que os motoristas possam regularizar seus veículos, promovendo maior segurança e tranquilidade no trânsito do estado.
