O Deputado Eduardo da Fonte ressalta que a inclusão da oncologia pediátrica nos currículos universitários é fundamental para melhorar os índices de cura da doença. “A melhoria desses índices passa pelo aperfeiçoamento da qualificação dos futuros médicos e enfermeiros, pois a grande maioria não aprende sobre o câncer infantojuvenil durante a formação universitária”, afirma o Deputado.
