Prêmio Banco do Nordeste de Jornalismo reconhecerá as melhores fotografias em duas categorias

Além do Prêmio Nacional de Fotografia, com júri profissional, troféu especial será escolhido com votação popular

As imagens que acompanham trabalhos jornalísticos podem impactar, informar e trazer sensibilidade e beleza ao texto jornalístico. Com o objetivo de valorizar o trabalho desses profissionais da fotografia, a edição 2024 do Prêmio Banco do Nordeste de Jornalismo em Desenvolvimento Regional traz duas categorias: o Prêmio Nacional de Fotografia e o Prêmio Fotográfico Júlio Serra.

O autor da melhor foto de acordo com o júri receberá R$ 14 mil pelo Prêmio Nacional de Fotografia. A comissão julgadora será formada por profissionais internos e externos ao Banco do Nordeste, que desempenhem suas atividades em estados que integram a área de atuação da instituição.
Prêmio Fotográfico Júlio Serra

Júlio Serra foi empregado do Banco do Nordeste durante mais de três décadas e construiu sua carreira como fotógrafo da instituição. Em 2023 faleceu, já aposentado. Para homenagear o ex-funcionário, o Prêmio Banco do Nordeste de Jornalismo em Desenvolvimento Regional criou o Prêmio Fotográfico Júlio Serra, que vai reconhecer um autor ou autora de imagem jornalística com R$ 8 mil via votação on-line pelo público.

A superintendente de Marketing e Comunicação do BNB, Evineide Dias, ressalta que essa categoria não se confunde com o Prêmio Nacional de Fotografia, cujo vencedor será definido pela comissão julgadora. “Nesta edição, homenageamos um ex-colega querido que dedicou sua vida profissional ao Banco do Nordeste por meio da fotografia. Logo estão garantidas premiações a pelo menos dois fotógrafos, já que temos o prêmio nacional de fotografia. Lembro que trabalhos de quaisquer mídias, inclusive foto, concorrem também nas premiações estaduais e no Grande Prêmio Nacional.

Após a definição dos trabalhos profissionais vencedores das premiações nacionais, estaduais, extrarregional e universitária, será aberta a votação on-line para o Prêmio Fotográfico Júlio Serra.

Inscrições

O Prêmio Banco do Nordeste de Jornalismo reconhece trabalhos profissionais e acadêmicos que retratam ações promotoras de desenvolvimento regional na área de atuação do BNB. O concurso tem objetivo de potencializar a visibilidade de ações capazes de promover o desenvolvimento regional, com sustentabilidade.
Ao todo, o Prêmio de Jornalismo vai distribuir R$ 300 mil e 31 troféus à imprensa e estudantes. O destaque é o Grande Prêmio Nacional, que concederá R$ 38 mil ao melhor trabalho com a temática “Energias renováveis e seus impactos sociais, ambientais e econômicos”.

A categoria Nacional ainda vai reconhecer Projetos Multimídia e de Audiovisual, com R$ 23 mil cada; de Áudio, com R$ 16 mil e de Texto, com R$ 15 mil. Conhecidos esses vencedores, passam-se às premiações estaduais, que vão conferir troféu e R$ 8 mil a um profissional de jornalismo de cada estado do Nordeste, de Minas Gerais e do Espírito Santo. A modalidade Extrarregional destinará R$ 12 mil ao melhor trabalho de fora do perímetro de atuação da empresa.

O ganhador entre as inscrições dos estudantes de Comunicação Social ou Jornalismo vai receber R$ 8 mil. Um projeto universitário de cada estado onde o BNB atua será premiado com R$ 5 mil, outra novidade desta edição.

Podem concorrer publicações entre 1º de março de 2023 e 30 de junho de 2024, mesma data limite para as inscrições. O regulamento do Prêmio está disponível na página do Banco do Nordeste na internet.
