Prefeitura do Recife entrega ampliação e requalificação da Creche Escola Presidente Tancredo Neves no Barro

Nesta segunda-feira (8), a Prefeitura do Recife, por meio da Secretaria de Educação, concluiu a ampliação e requalificação da Creche Escola Presidente Tancredo Neves, situada no bairro do Barro. Com investimentos de aproximadamente R$ 1 milhão, a unidade de ensino foi expandida para comportar cerca de 300 crianças, abrangendo desde turmas de berçário até o grupo V. O prefeito em exercício, Ricardo Paes Barreto, presidente do TJ-PE, esteve presente na inauguração.

Ricardo Paes Barreto enfatizou a importância da entrega da creche para a comunidade, ressaltando a qualidade estrutural e pedagógica da unidade, que reflete o compromisso da gestão municipal com a educação. A ampliação da Creche Escola Presidente Tancredo Neves contempla diversas melhorias, incluindo salas de aula, sala de recursos multifuncionais, banheiros, projeto paisagístico com parquinho infantil e jardim sensorial, entre outros.

O secretário de Educação, Fred Amancio, destacou a relevância da iniciativa para as famílias do Barro e região, ressaltando o compromisso da gestão municipal em ampliar a oferta de vagas em creches. Até o momento, 80% da meta de dobrar o número de vagas em creches até o final de 2024 já foi alcançada, como parte do Programa Infância na Creche, que representa o maior investimento na educação infantil da história da cidade.

A entrega da Creche Escola Presidente Tancredo Neves é uma conquista para a comunidade, garantindo um ambiente seguro e adequado para o desenvolvimento das crianças. O Programa Infância na Creche continua avançando, visando qualificar a educação infantil no Recife e promover o acesso de mais crianças à educação de qualidade.
