Prefeitura do Cabo investiu mais de R$ 520 mil em incentivo ao esporte

De 2021 até agora, a Prefeitura do Cabo de Santo Agostinho investiu R$ 523 mil em incentivos à atletas, por meio de ajuda de custo nas competições nacionais e internacionais, e programas de fomento às atividades esportivas. Os dados são do balanço realizado pela Secretaria Executiva de Esporte e Lazer e representam 10 vezes mais do que os recursos empregados no período entre 2018 e 2020.

Hoje a cidade mantém o programa Cabo em Movimento com aulas de judô, funcional para adultos e crianças, step, yoga, ginásticas para idosos, ritbox, hidroginástica e alongamento nos bairros, praias e área rural. O Cabo em Movimento atende mais de 2 mil alunos e tem transformado a vida das pessoas.

“Com mais de R$ 500 mil reais destinados a essas iniciativas, a administração municipal está comprometida em fomentar a prática esportiva entre os cidadãos, promovendo a saúde, a integração social e o surgimento de novos talentos”, disse o secretário de Juventude e Esportes do Cabo, Adriano Batista de Andrade.

Os investimentos têm sido direcionados para a organização de diversos eventos e competições esportivas, abrangendo modalidades como futebol, vôlei, basquete e atletismo. Além disso, a gestão municipal vem destinando ajuda de custo aos atletas e paratletas cabenses nas modalidades de karatê, jiu-jítsu, judô, surf, futmesa, entre outras.

Os recursos também foram direcionados para melhoria de infraestrutura de campos de futebol, incentivo aos atletas amadores e futebol de várzea, qualificação, a exemplo do curso para treinador de futebol de várzea e a requalificação de academias públicas.

“Nossos investimentos não se limitam apenas à organização de eventos esportivos, mas também incluem melhorias em infraestrutura e programas de atividades físicas diversificados, como o Cabo em Movimento. Estamos comprometidos em fazer do Cabo de Santo Agostinho um lugar onde o esporte não apenas seja praticado, mas também seja valorizado como uma ferramenta para a saúde, integração social e desenvolvimento pessoal”, comentou o secretário da Juventude e Esportes.
