Pernambuco será contemplado com mais 8,9 mil moradias do Minha Casa, Minha Vida Rural e Entidades

O estado de Pernambuco receberá um grande investimento habitacional através do programa Minha Casa, Minha Vida nas categorias Rural e Entidades. A governadora em exercício Priscila Krause comemorou a seleção de 8.947 moradias durante uma solenidade em Brasília, na qual o presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva anunciou que Pernambuco será contemplado com 6.203 moradias na modalidade Rural e 2.744 na modalidade Entidades. Essas unidades, somadas ao Fundo de Arrendamento Residencial (FAR), totalizam 19.223 moradias no estado, representando 11,92% de todo o país. Essa iniciativa beneficiará mulheres chefes de família, comunidades quilombolas, povos indígenas e famílias que vivem em áreas de risco.

A habitação de interesse social é uma das principais prioridades da gestão estadual para reduzir o déficit habitacional em Pernambuco. A governadora Raquel Lyra determinou que essa seja uma prioridade e o governo federal atendeu às expectativas do estado ao disponibilizar uma quantidade maior de moradias nas modalidades Entidades e Rural. A governadora em exercício agradeceu a parceria com o Ministério das Cidades e reforçou o compromisso de entregar a maior quantidade de habitações da história de Pernambuco.

Esse investimento habitacional tem um valor nacional previsto de R$ 11,6 bilhões e beneficiará mais de 440 mil pessoas em todo o país. Durante a solenidade, o presidente Lula ressaltou a importância de oferecer moradias dignas às famílias brasileiras, destacando que todas as casas terão varandas para proporcionar um espaço de lazer.

Além disso, o ministro das Cidades, Jader Filho, enfatizou que o programa Minha Casa, Minha Vida tem sido fundamental para realizar o sonho da casa própria para milhões de brasileiros ao longo dos últimos 15 anos.

No primeiro trimestre deste ano, o governo de Pernambuco já executou R$ 221 milhões em investimentos na área da habitação, superando em mais de 20 vezes a média dos últimos quatro anos. Isso demonstra a prioridade que a gestão estadual tem dado à política de habitação de interesse social.

Dentro do programa Morar Bem, já foram entregues 696 unidades habitacionais em diferentes municípios do estado. Além disso, mais de 5,7 mil imóveis estão disponíveis para compra em 13 municípios pernambucanos.

A solenidade contou com a presença de autoridades como o vice-presidente da República e ministro do Desenvolvimento, Indústria, Comércio e Serviços, Geraldo Alckmin, e outros ministros de Estado. A secretária de Desenvolvimento Urbano e Habitação de Pernambuco, Simone Nunes, e o presidente da Companhia Estadual de Habitação e Obras (Cehab), Paulo Lira, também estiveram presentes.
