PDT avalia romper com base governista alegando falta de apreço de Lula

O presidente nacional do PDT, deputado André Figueiredo (PDT-CE), anunciou que o partido está considerando deixar a base governista do presidente Lula (PT).

A possibilidade surgiu principalmente após o PT lançar um candidato próprio à prefeitura de Fortaleza, onde o PDT tenta reeleger José Sarto.

O PT, por sua vez, lançou o deputado estadual Evandro Leitão para a disputa.

A situação se agravou quando Lula participou da convenção que oficializou a candidatura de Leitão no último sábado.

Figueiredo afirmou que o presidente “não tem apreço pelo PDT”, apesar de ter Carlos Lupi, um aliado do partido, no comando do Ministério da Previdência.

André declarou ainda que o PDT precisa reavaliar sua posição e não fazer parte de uma base fragilizada.

O presidente do PDT mencionou em entrevista ao Estadão que, em determinadas matérias, o partido fará uma análise mais crítica e que, embora não haja retaliação direta no Congresso, o PDT terá que encarar Lula como alguém que não valoriza o partido.

No Ceará, o PDT já enfrenta divisões internas, especialmente na relação entre o ex-governador do Ceará Ciro Gomes e o governo.

Ciro, que já foi aliado de Lula, tornou-se um crítico ferrenho do petista nos últimos anos.
