O amarelo vai tomar conta das ruas de Vitória de Santo Antão, na noite deste sábado (17), com realização de mais uma grande caminhada de Paulo Roberto, candidato do PSD a prefeito de Vitória de Santo Antão. O empresário do setor da educação estará acompanhado do seu candidato a vice-prefeito, Ozias Valentim, do prefeito Elias Lira, e do deputado estadual Joaquim Lira, todos do PSD.
A concentração para a caminhada começa às 18h55, no comitê da coligação Unidos por Vitória, no Bairro do Livramento. De lá, os participantes seguem para o Loteamento Belo Horizonte, com bandeiras e cartazes, e animados por jingles e músicas da campanha.
“Eu tenho uma compromisso: melhorar a vida da população vitoriense. É ouvindo a população diretamente que construiremos uma cidade melhor”, diz Paulo Roberto. A coligação Unidos por Vitória é formada pelos seguintes partidos: PSD, PRB, PDT, PMDB, PSL, PTN, PPS, DEM, PSDC, PMB, PSDB, PEN, e PC do B.
Graduado em Direito e mestre em Educação, Paulo Roberto Leite de Arruda, 55 anos, tem larga experiência administrativa. Foi vice-prefeito de Vitória de Santo Antão de 1997 a 2000, na gestão de Elias Lira. De 2009 a março deste ano, também fez parte do governo Elias Lira, desta vez como secretário municipal de Cultura, Turismo e Esportes, onde se destacou pelo resgate das tradições e a criação de novos equipamentos de lazer.
Homem do povo, Paulo Roberto, tem a história de vida marcada pelo trabalho e pelo sucesso. O garoto pobre, que precisava pegar caronas para ir estudar no Recife, fundou um colégio (Radar), e uma faculdade, a Facol – Faculdade Escritor Osman da Costa Lins, referência na educação do estado.
Paulo Roberto também atua no ramo da comunicação. Fundou a Rádio Tabocas e é responsável pela instalação da TV Nova Vitória no município. Desportista de coração, fundou e foi presidente do Vitória, time que chegou a conquistar vários títulos e se tornar referência nacional do futebol feminino. Natural de Vitória de Santo Antão, Paulo Roberto é casado com Raissa de Deus, com quem tem cinco filhos e quatro netos.
