OAB-PE promove “I Simpósio de Cannabis Medicinal e Direito”

A OAB Pernambuco promove nesta sexta-feira (10), em seu auditório (Rua do Imperador Pedro II, 346 – Santo Antônio/Recife), o “I Simpósio de Cannabis Medicinal e Direito”. A regulamentação do uso da cannabis como tratamento terapêutico será debatida por autoridades das áreas do direito, da saúde, da política e sociedade civil.

“A cannabis medicinal já é uma realidade em diversos países e o Brasil precisa discutir o tema como perspectiva para introdução no tratamento de várias doenças. Na condição de representantes da Casa da Cidadania, estamos atentos a esse debate, especialmente quanto aos desafios legais à sua regulamentação”, frisou o presidente da OAB-PE, Fernando Ribeiro Lins.

De acordo com o presidente da Comissão de Direito da Cannabis Medicinal (CDCM) da OAB-PE, Sérgio Urt, o simpósio colocará em debate as expectativas e avanços no tratamento terapêutico com cannabis sob a ótica de profissionais de saúde; formas de acesso ao tratamento; autorizações e resoluções da Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa). O evento também abrirá espaço para debate sobre o associativismo cannabico.
