A governadora Raquel Lyra esteve, nesta terça-feira (12), no escritório central do Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES), no Rio de Janeiro. Em reunião com o diretor de Planejamento e Relações Institucionais do BNDES, Nelson Barbosa, a diretora socioambiental do BNDES, Tereza Campello, e parte da equipe técnica do banco, a gestora tratou da atração de investimentos para Pernambuco.
“Aqui no BNDES, nós discutimos sobre empréstimos, investimentos na agricultura familiar e reflorestamento da Caatinga. Agradeço à equipe do Banco que nos recebeu. Nós conversamos sobre futuras oportunidades de financiamento com o objetivo de fazer Pernambuco crescer, sem deixar ninguém para trás”, destacou Raquel Lyra.
Em 2023, o Governo do Estado aderiu à iniciativa Sertão Vivo, que é fruto de uma parceria firmada entre o Consórcio Nordeste, o governo federal, por meio do BNDES, e o Fundo Internacional de Desenvolvimento Agrícola (FIDA), ligado à ONU. O Projeto Raízes Resilientes foi a proposta apresentada pelo Estado, que totalizou R$ 300 milhões com o objetivo de reduzir o impacto da mudança climática, garantir acesso à água e ampliar a capacidade de produção da agricultura familiar.
Estiveram presentes os secretários estaduais Rodrigo Ribeiro (Projetos Estratégicos), Túlio Vilaça (Casa Civil), Guilherme Cavalcanti (Desenvolvimento Econômico) e Rodolfo Costa Pinto (Comunicação). Também participaram a gerente do Departamento de Gestão Pública do BNDES, Paula Barbosa, a superintendente de Desenvolvimento Social e Gestão Pública, Ana Costa, a superintendente de Soluções para Cidades, Luciene Machado, e a chefe do Departamento de Infraestrutura e Concessões Rodoviárias, Nathália Saad.
