No Recife, Silvio Costa Filho anuncia leilão de portos para agosto

Ministro realizou uma visita técnica ao Porto de Recife, inspecionando as áreas que serão objeto do leilão

Durante uma visita técnica, realizada nesta sexta-feira (31), em Recife (PE), o ministro de Portos e Aeroportos, Silvio Costa Filho, anunciou o primeiro leilão de portos de 2024, previsto para ocorrer em agosto. Serão três leilões na B3, em São Paulo, totalizando cerca de R$ 60 milhões. As áreas leiloadas serão:

REC08 – Granel Sólido Vegetal (Malte, Trigo, Milho)

REC09 – Carga Geral e Granel Sólido (Arroz)

REC10 – Carga Geral e Granel Sólido (Barrilha)

A visita ao Porto do Recife teve como objetivo realizar uma inspeção técnica nas áreas que serão leiloadas e acompanhar o plano de investimentos previsto pela autoridade portuária. Importante ressaltar que o Porto do Recife registrou, até o primeiro quadrimestre, um aumento de 43% na movimentação portuária em comparação com o mesmo período de 2023.

“Nós já temos R$ 120 milhões assegurados para a dragagem do Porto do Recife, o que vai aumentar nosso calado e a competitividade do porto. Em agosto, faremos um leilão de três terminais, com investimentos na ordem de R$ 60 milhões, além das obras complementares,” destacou o ministro.

Costa Filho reforçou ainda que as melhorias fazem parte de um conjunto de medidas para impulsionar a economia e gerar mais emprego e renda para a população, resultado de um trabalho conjunto com o governo do estado e o Governo Federal. “É o maior volume de investimentos nos últimos 20 anos no porto da cidade”, afirmou, destacando a expectativa pelo processo licitatório em setembro.

O presidente do Porto do Recife, Delmiro Gouveia, enfatizou a relevância das concessões para melhorar os serviços, como a dragagem dos rios, que permitirá a atracação de navios maiores, beneficiando também o turismo local. “Há uma grande necessidade, principalmente no canal externo e na chegada dos navios. Isso vai possibilitar a atração de novas cargas e rotas comerciais,” esclareceu.

A vice-governadora de Pernambuco, Priscila Krause, reforçou que o Porto do Recife já teve uma ampliação de 43% na movimentação no ano passado. “Esperamos que, com o leilão desses três galpões, possamos ter um incremento na movimentação de 25% a 30% aqui no Porto do Recife. O porto retoma assim um papel fundamental no desenvolvimento econômico do estado,” destacou.

Dragagem dos Canais e Infraestrutura

A conclusão do projeto de dragagem dos canais e infraestrutura do porto teve um valor estimado de R$ 120 milhões, dos quais R$ 30 milhões são previstos no PAC Leilões 2024.
