“No governo do presidente Lula não existe perseguição”, afirma Carlos Veras

O deputado federal Carlos Veras (PT), falou exclusivamente com a Rede Pernambuco de Rádios e com o blog do Alberes Xavier sobre a relação do Governo Federal com a governadora Raquel Lyra. Segundo Veras, mesmo o PT sendo – teoricamente – oposição ao PSDB, o partido tem votado os projetos encaminhados pela tucana à Assembleia Legislativa de Pernambuco de acordo com os interesses dos pernambucanos.

“Desde o primeiro dia que a governadora Raquel Lyra tomou posse, ela sempre foi bem tratada pelo governo Lula, com todos os ministérios, pelo próprio presidente e pela bancada do PT no Congresso. Independente de sermos da base estadual do governo ou não, sempre a tratamos com muito respeito, respeitando a decisão do povo pernambucano”, disse o deputado.

Veras destacou que não tem faltado recursos para Pernambuco. “No governo do presidente Lula não existe perseguição a nenhum gestor, seja municipal ou estadual. Nós cuidamos do povo, não atuamos como o ex-presidente da República, Jair Bolsonaro, tratou o ex-governador Paulo Câmara, que ia ao Estado e nem se quer avisava ao governador. Que não tinha uma pauta, que quando Pernambuco precisou, quando teve uma chuva forte em Jaboatão, que atingiu fortemente a Zona da Mata, que atingiu o Recife, o Governo Federal deu as costas para os pernambucanos. O presidente Lula quando vai a Pernambuco, trata todos os prefeitos e a governadora com muito respeito e tem se colocado à disposição. Ela própria, como governadora, tem reconhecido, agradecendo ao presidente Lula por tudo o que tem feito”.

O deputado Carlos Reforçou que, na Assembleia Legislativa de Pernambuco (Alepe), o partido tem votado de acordo com os interesses dos pernambucanos. “Quando a governadora votou o projeto da educação, a bancada do PT votou contra, porque entendemos que era um direito dos professores que não dava para confundir piso com teto. Quando foi agora, na questão da extinção das faixas salariais, a bancada de Pernambuco teve uma decisão correta de pensar no Estado, de responsabilidade com as outras categorias também. A nossa bancada vota de acordo com os interesses da população”, ressaltou.

O deputado assegurou que a aproximação dos deputados petistas com a governadora Raquel Lyra na Alepe não tem nada a ver com a possibilidade do partido conseguir alguma secretaria na gestão estadual.

“Nós nunca recebemos um convite da governadora para compor a base. Um dia que o partido receber esse convite, irá tratar. Nunca recebeu esse convite, até porque ela é de um partido que faz oposição ao governo do presidente”, pontuou Veras.
