O prefeito Miguel Coelho participou nesta segunda-feira (30) da abertura das aulas do Programa Nacional de Acesso ao Ensino Técnico e Emprego (Pronatec). O evento ocorrido no Parque Josepha Coelho também marcou o lançamento do programa Qualifica Petrolina, iniciativa que irá abarcar uma rede de capacitações profissionais para estudantes, trabalhadores e pessoas de baixa renda na cidade sertaneja.
Miguel destacou a importância de investir em programas de qualificação para assegurar mais condições de trabalho para a população. “Estamos lançando um marco importante. Hoje, para arrumar um emprego não basta o interesse, é preciso estar preparado. Precisamos levar mais conhecimento, capacitação e qualificação não apenas para nossa juventude, mas para toda a população.”
Além do Pronatec, que terá 391 vagas em 16 cursos, o Qualifica Petrolina vai buscar parcerias com instituições como a Codevasf, Sesc, Senat e Governo do Estado. “A ideia é fortalecer a rede e ampliar as oportunidades para a qualificação profissional junto com parceiros importantes”, adiantou a secretária executiva de Direitos Humanos, Bruna Ruana.
Pronatec – Petrolina foi a segunda cidade com maior número de vagas para cursos do Pronatec em Pernambuco. As 391 vagas são destinadas a áreas administrativas para as funções de assistente financeiro; representante comercial; assistente de logística; assistente de faturamento; agente de logística, entre outras. As turmas foram formadas no final de 2016 através de inscrições oferecidas no Sistema de Seleção da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (SISUTEC). Já as aulas terão início no dia 13 de Fevereiro e serão ministradas em seis escolas de Petrolina onde os jovens e adultos terão a oportunidade de adquirir capacitação para o mercado de trabalho.
O Pronatec foi criado em 2011 pelo governo federal com o objetivo de ampliar a oferta de cursos de educação profissional e tecnológica. Para ter acesso aos cursos gratuitamente, os alunos devem ser beneficiários do Bolsa Família ou estarem inscritos no Cadastro Único de Programas Sociais (Cadúnico).
