O prefeito Lupércio, que comanda o município de Olinda, participou do programa Diálogo com Pedro Paulo, da TV Nova Nordeste. Durante a sua participação, o gestor destacou a atuação de Mirella Almeida, indicada por ele para continuar a sua gestão.
“A gente tem um time muito bom na saúde, na educação. Evidente que a gente ainda está muito longe do que a gente quer fazer pela cidade, mas a gente tem um time muito importante aqui como na saúde, na educação, no trânsito – mas acima de tudo nós temos hoje uma Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Econômico, Tecnologia, Inovação e Turismo, que é a nossa secretária Mirella Almeida, que também teve sua passagem como secretária de Governo, além de ter sido gestora da secretaria da Fazenda e do Planejamento”, reforçou Lupércio.
O prefeito destacou que, mesmo “não olhando pelo retrovisor” , a Avenida Presidente Kennedy era conhecida como corredor da Morte nas gestões passadas, mas que isso mudou quando ele assumiu o comando do município. Lupércio aponta que a sua gestão fez um investimento milionário para melhorar a avenida. “A gente fez um investimento de aproximadamente R$ 18 milhões. Depois que a avenida passou por uma grande transformação, até hoje não houve mais acidentes com vítimas”, destacou.
