Diversas lideranças do Partido Socialista Brasileiro em Pernambuco participaram, neste domingo (17), de almoço organizado pela vice-governadora e presidente nacional do PCdoB, Luciana Santos, para recepcionar o ex-presidente Lula no Recife.
Participaram o prefeito Geraldo Julio, os deputados federais João Campos e Tadeu Alencar, líder da bancada do PSB na Câmara Federal, e o presidente estadual do PSB, Sileno Guedes. A família do ex-governador Eduardo Campos também recebeu o ex-presidente.
Os socialistas trataram com o presidente Lula sobre a preocupação com o atual cenário político e econômico nacional, que aponta para a retirada cada vez maior de direitos conquistados pelo povo brasileiro.
Estiveram presentes ainda os deputados federais Carlos Veras, Wolney Queiroz, Eduardo da Fonte e Renildo Calheiros; os deputados estaduais João Paulo e Waldemar Borges e o vice-prefeito do Recife, Luciano Siqueira. O governador Paulo Câmara não compareceu porque está em viagem oficial com o Consórcio Nordeste.
