Neste domingo, 02 de março, a governadora de Pernambuco, Raquel Lyra, esteve presente na 19ª edição da UMADESC (União da Mocidade da Assembleia de Deus em Santa Cruz do Capibaribe), um dos maiores congressos evangélicos do estado. Acompanhada por sua comitiva, a gestora estadual foi recepcionada pelo prefeito Helinho Aragão, pelo ex-prefeito Fábio Aragão e pelo pastor André Alencar, gestor da Assembleia de Deus no município.
Durante sua participação no evento, a governadora concedeu uma entrevista exclusiva ao Blog do Jairo Gomes e destacou a grandiosidade e a importância da UMADESC.
“Só quem viveu para dizer, né? Você vê um evento como esse da UMADESC, que reúne 10 mil pessoas orando, construindo valores e trabalhando para uma sociedade melhor. É lindo de viver sempre.”, declarou Raquel Lyra.
A governadora ressaltou ainda que o carnaval pernambucano vai além do frevo e reforçou a diversidade cultural e religiosa do estado.
“Pernambuco tem de um tudo, e nosso povo é muito religioso. É importante que possamos trabalhar sempre pelo apoio às instituições. Estou aqui para reafirmar o meu compromisso com as igrejas de Pernambuco, com a Igreja Evangélica e com a Assembleia de Deus.”, afirmou.
Ao lado de lideranças políticas e religiosas, a chefe do Executivo estadual mencionou o deputado estadual Adalto Santos e o pastor Ailton José Alves, destacando a relevância do evento e a sua consolidação ao longo dos anos.
“Esta é a 19ª edição porque está dando certo, está crescendo, e é importante poder reunir todos em torno da Palavra de Deus.”
O pastor André Alencar, responsável pela igreja local, concedeu a palavra à governadora, que reforçou a relevância do congresso para o fortalecimento da fé e da comunidade cristã.
A UMADESC 2025 mais uma vez demonstrou sua força, reunindo milhares de fiéis para momentos de louvor, pregação e reflexão espiritual.
