Governadora Raquel Lyra oferece apoio a prefeitos de cidades afetadas pela chuva

Cumprindo agenda oficial na cidade de Brasília nesta quarta-feira (5), a governadora Raquel Lyra tem acompanhado todas as ações desenvolvidas pelas secretarias e órgãos do Estado para minimizar os impactos das chuvas que caíram na Região Metropolitana do Recife nas últimas horas. No início desta tarde, a governadora telefonou para prefeitos das cidades mais afetadas pela precipitação para colocar a estrutura do Estado à disposição dos municípios que necessitarem de suporte para atender áreas e pessoas em situação de risco.

Segundo dados divulgados pela Agência Pernambucana de Águas e Clima (Apac) às 12h50, choveu 134 mm na capital durante as últimas 24 horas. Abreu e Lima, na RMR, foi a cidade com maior acumulado no mesmo período, 177 mm.

“Desde as primeiras horas do dia estou acompanhando o volume de chuvas que tem caído no Grande Recife e coordenando tudo o que está sendo feito pelos órgãos estaduais para mitigar os efeitos desse temporal. Há pouco entrei em contato com vários prefeitos e informei que estamos prontos para ajudá-los com o que for necessário. Nossa prioridade, agora, é o cuidado com as pessoas e a salvaguarda das vidas de quem vive e trabalha nesse chão”, afirmou a governadora Raquel Lyra.
