A governadora Raquel Lyra iniciou uma importante agenda de entregas em Petrolina, no Sertão do São Francisco, nesta terça-feira (26). Durante a manhã, participou da inauguração de um novo posto para emissão de passaportes em parceria com a Polícia Federal, localizado no Expresso Cidadão do município. Em seguida, no mesmo local, entregou um espaço de atendimento especializado para crianças com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) e neurodivergentes.
O novo espaço de atendimento especializado, desenvolvido pela Secretaria de Administração do Estado (SAD), é o primeiro do tipo no interior do Estado e visa promover o acesso à cidadania e proporcionar mais acolhimento ao público infantil com TEA. A sala foi equipada com brinquedos, livros e abafadores de ruído para minimizar estímulos auditivos, além de uma decoração pensada para reduzir estímulos visuais externos.
Aqueles que necessitarem do atendimento receberão um crachá com a simbologia do TEA para auxiliar a equipe do Expresso Cidadão na identificação e no suporte necessário. O agendamento pode ser realizado no portal www.pecidadao.pe.gov.br, e não é necessário apresentar laudo médico. O espaço visa oferecer mais dignidade e cidadania aos pernambucanos, como destacou a governadora Raquel Lyra.
Além disso, foi inaugurado um posto para emissão de passaportes no Expresso Cidadão de Petrolina, fruto de uma parceria entre o Governo de Pernambuco e a Polícia Federal. O espaço, localizado no River Shopping, tem capacidade para 30 agendamentos diários e representa mais comodidade para a população do Sertão, que não precisará mais se deslocar para outros municípios para solicitar o documento.
A cerimônia contou com a presença de autoridades locais, como o prefeito de Petrolina, Simão Durando, outros prefeitos da região, secretários e lideranças políticas. O superintendente regional da Polícia Federal, Antônio de Pádua, ressaltou a importância do novo espaço em Petrolina, destacando que esta é a primeira vez na história que a Polícia Federal inaugura um posto de passaportes na cidade.
