O presidente da Câmara Municipal do Ipojuca, Deoclécio Lira, se filiou na manhã deste sábado (27) ao Partido dos Trabalhadores.
O evento foi realizado na Faculdade Novo Horizon (Antiga Fajolca), no centro de Ipojuca, e contou com a participação do senador Humberto Costa, além de representantes da senadora Teresa Leitão e do deputado Federal Carlos Veras.
Em seu discurso, Deoclécio afirmou que Ipojuca não aguenta mais a atual gestão e que uma continuidade será ruim para população. “Ipojuca tem a terceira maior arrecadação do Estado, mas sua riqueza não chega na população. É preciso termos uma gestão que melhore a qualidade de vida dos ipojucanos, que tenha um olhar social para os mais vulneráveis. É preciso coragem para mudar”, afirmou Deoclécio.
O ato de filiação reuniu militantes, apoiadores, representantes do PT de Pernambuco, MLSTU, lideranças políticas de Ipojuca, o secretário-geral do PT em Pernambuco, Sérgio Goiana, os vereadores Gilmar Costa e Paulinho Nascimento, dentre outras autoridades.
