Conexão Jovem: Prefeitura de Araripina lança parceria com Jala University para bolsas em Engenharia de Software

A Prefeitura de Araripina lançou nesta segunda-feira, 23, o programa Conexão Jovem em parceria com a universidade latino-americana Jala University, para oferecer bolsas de estudos de graduação em Engenharia de Software.

O programa é destinado a jovens araripinenses entre 17 e 24 anos que estão concluindo o 3º ano do Ensino Médio ou que já concluíram e desejam ingressar gratuitamente em uma universidade americana de maneira online. Após o processo seletivo, os estudantes aprovados iniciarão o curso de graduação de maneira online na Jala University com duração de aproximadamente quatro anos e com a garantia de empregabilidade de mais quatro anos após a conclusão da graduação, com salários compatíveis com o mercado internacional. Além disso, terão aulas de inglês no nível C2 que é considerado a língua fluente.

De acordo com o prefeito de Araripina, Raimundo Pimentel, o programa Conexão Jovem é uma oportunidade única que está sendo ofertada aos jovens araripinenses que desejam ingressar em uma universidade americana.

“O mercado de Engenharia de Software é um dos mais promissores em todo o mundo e é uma área que necessita de muitos profissionais. Nós estamos oferecendo a oportunidade para os jovens de Araripina de estudarem de graça em uma universidade americana e após a conclusão do curso terem a garantia de emprego e ganhando em dólar. Acredito que a educação é a ferramenta que transforma a vida das pessoas, assim como transformou a minha, e, por isto estamos confiantes que, a partir de 2024, teremos meninos e meninas araripinenses como bolsistas deste projeto único e transformador”, comemorou Pimentel.

Segundo o prefeito Raimundo Pimentel, como os alunos aprovados estudarão por quatro anos de maneira integral (manhã e tarde), além da bolsa de estudos, a Prefeitura de Araripina também concederá uma bolsa mensal no valor de R$ 1.000 para cada aluno participante do programa Conexão Jovem. “Sabemos que muitos dos nossos jovens não podem dedicar-se aos estudos de maneira integral devido às condições econômicas da família, por isto também iremos instituir o pagamento mensal de mil reais para contribuir com a renda familiar durante os quatro anos de graduação”, disse.

O lançamento do programa Conexão Jovem aconteceu na Escola Técnica Estadual Pedro Muniz Falcão e teve a participação online da Gerente Nacional do Brasil da Jala University, Tatiana Andrade, da gestora da Gerência Regional de Educação Sertão do Araripe, Rosa Maria Oliveira, do presidente da Câmara de Vereadores, Roseilton Oliveira, e de alunos das escolas públicas municipais e estaduais.
