A importância de Inocêncio Oliveira para Pernambuco
Eleito pela primeira vez deputado federal em 1974, Inocêncio Oliveira alcançou a incrível marca de dez mandatos consecutivos como representante de Pernambuco na Câmara Federal. Durante quarenta anos de vida pública, Inocêncio conseguiu ocupar os cargos mais importantes na mesa diretora da Câmara dos Deputados e ainda assumiu a presidência da República por nove vezes durante o governo Itamar Franco. As votações de Inocêncio Oliveira sempre foram muito representativas, atingindo em 2006 a marca de 181.126 votos na condição de segundo mais votado e em 2010, último mandato eletivo conquistado, a marca de 198.497 votos, figurando como o quarto mais votado do pleito. Durante os quarenta anos de vida pública, Inocêncio foi da ARENA, PDS, PFL, MDB e PL, tendo neste último conquistado seus dois últimos mandatos.
Inocêncio teve papel importantíssimo nas eleições de 2006, contribuindo diretamente para um feito histórico que foi a vitória de Eduardo Campos naquele pleito que deu início a atual hegemonia do PSB. Naquela ocasião Inocêncio atuou no sentido de ser candidato a governador, chegando a trocar o PFL pelo MDB e pelo PL para viabilizar seu projeto majoritário. Ao ter que arquivar seu projeto majoritário, ele fez uma escolha que a princípio seria impensável quando trocou a candidatura de Mendonça Filho, então governador e candidato à reeleição, pela do então deputado federal Eduardo Campos, sendo um dos primeiros líderes políticos a apostar no projeto que viria a ser vitorioso quando ninguém acreditava por ter apenas um dígito nas pesquisas.
Inocêncio, a pedido de Eduardo, chegou a indicar o nome da ex-prefeita de Arcoverde, Rosa Barros, para o cargo de vice-governadora. A escolha tinha sido resolvida quando chegou a possibilidade de o PDT apoiar formalmente o então candidato a governador e indicar João Lyra Neto que seria o vice. Inocêncio deu uma grande demonstração de altruísmo e principalmente olfato político ao sentir o que estava se iniciando naquele processo. Os seus quase quarenta prefeitos migraram em sua maioria para Eduardo, que contrariando a lógica política de Pernambuco, iniciou um projeto vitorioso que iniciou no sertão até chegar ao litoral.
Se hoje temos uma hegemonia do PSB em Pernambuco que já dura dezesseis anos, ela só foi possível graças ao movimento feito por Inocêncio Oliveira que foi de uma importância ímpar para transformar o azarão Eduardo Campos em vitorioso naquele pleito eleitoral. Em que pese sua experiência de dez mandatos como deputado federal, Inocêncio conseguiu em quase cinco décadas de vida pública escrever seu nome na história política de Pernambuco. Hoje, aos 80 anos de idade, ele continua fazendo política, recebendo semanalmente lideranças de todo o estado, dividindo a sua experiência e principalmente a sua aguçada visão sobre a política pernambucana e brasileira.
Herdeiros – Apesar de não disputar mais mandatos eletivos, Inocêncio Oliveira teve grande influência na vida política dos deputados Sebastião Oliveira, seu primo, e Alberto Feitosa, que ficaram com a incumbência de manter o seu legado na política. O seu neto, Victor Oliveira, já foi candidato a prefeito de Serra Talhada e tomou gosto pela política.
Conferência – O prefeito Geraldo Julio participa durante toda esta quarta-feira, em São Paulo, da conferência “Catalisando Futuros Urbanos Sustentáveis -3° Encontro Global da Plataforma Global para Cidades Sustentáveis e 2° Conferência Internacional para Cidades Sustentáveis”. A abertura do evento acontece às 9h e o prefeito participa, às 11h, da mesa redonda “Rodada dos Prefeitos” e às 14h da cerimônia de entrega do Prêmio Cidades Sustentáveis 2019.
Vou de van – O deputado estadual Álvaro Porto (PTB) reuniu-se nesta terça-feira (17.09) com o presidente do Detran-PE, Roberto Fontelles, para tratar de pleitos de “loteiros” e motoristas de vans que atuam em municípios do Agreste Meridional. A regulamentação dos serviços, reivindicação da categoria, começa a ser analisada. A mobilização é respaldada por projeto de lei, de autoria de Antônio Fernando (PSC), em tramitação na Alepe.
Volta – Após um período de licença médica, o deputado federal Danilo Cabral (PSB) retomou, nesta terça-feira (17), as atividades na Câmara Federal. Já no seu primeiro dia de retorno, o parlamentar participou de reuniões com prefeitos e outros deputados. “Estamos voltando ainda mais engajados para trabalhar nas pautas em defesa dos pernambucanos. Agradeço a torcida de todos e me comprometo em seguir lutando pelos direitos da população”, afirmou.
Aprovação – A votação da Nova Lei de Licitações (PL 1.929/1995) foi concluída pela Câmara dos Deputados com o relator da matéria, deputado federal Augusto Coutinho (Solidariedade) conseguindo manter a essência do texto-base, aprovado em junho deste ano. Dos 23 destaques sugerindo mudanças no relatório, apenas quatro tiveram parecer favorável do plenário. A Nova Lei de Licitações moderniza a legislação brasileira relacionada a contratações públicas, defasada em quase três décadas. O projeto tramitou por 24 anos na Casa e segue agora para o Senado.

Atendimento – Inocêncio Oliveira continua recebendo lideranças políticas de todo o estado em seu escritório político na Imbiribeira. Todas as terças-feiras ele faz questão de atender prefeitos, ex-prefeitos, deputados e lideranças que procuram visitá-lo para falar de política.
