Disputa em família 

Oitavo município pernambucano, a cidade de Camaragibe encerra um ciclo iniciado em 2017 com a chegada do prefeito Demóstenes Meira e de sua então vice, Nadegi Queiroz. Com o afastamento do titular, Nadegi assumiu o cargo e foi reeleita em 2020. Com vistas a 2024, a prefeita ainda não decidiu seu candidato, porém há forte expectativa na sua base política de que o nome escolhido possa ser Diego Cabral. A prefeita recentemente negou que tenha definido o nome para a sua sucessão.

Recém-rompido com a prefeita prefeita, o presidente da Câmara, Renê Cabral, também sonha com uma candidatura ao comando do executivo. Ocorre que ele é irmão de Diego, e os dois podem se enfrentar. Além dos irmãos, o vice-prefeito Delio Junior, o ex-prefeito Jorge Alexandre, o ex-deputado Beto Acioly e outros atores políticos se movimentam com vistas ao comando do executivo municipal.

A disputa em Camaragibe promete ser bastante intensa e deverá trazer fortes emoções para os próprios postulantes e também os que se envolverem indiretamente no processo eleitoral do próximo ano.

Remarcada – A reunião entre o prefeito João Campos e a bancada federal, que estava marcada para esta sexta-feira foi adiada para o dia 8 de novembro em Brasília, em local a ser definido. A governadora Raquel Lyra esteve reunida com a bancada federal em Brasília esta semana e na próxima será a vez de João Campos apresentar as suas demandas junto aos parlamentares.

Mesa – O Tribunal de Justiça de Pernambuco realiza sessão extraordinária em 6 de novembro, para eleição de nova Mesa Diretora (2024 – 2026). Serão eleitos o presidente, 1º e 2º vice-presidentes e o corregedor-geral. O Tribunal de Justiça de Pernambuco é o órgão máximo do Poder Judiciário estadual, com sede na cidade do Recife e jurisdição em todo o território de Pernambuco, sendo constituído atualmente por 52 desembargadores.

Rejeição – O Senado rejeitou a indicação do presidente Lula (PT) para o comando da Defensoria Pública da União. O defensor Igor Roque foi indicado ainda no primeiro semestre para ocupar o cargo de defensor público-geral, mas teve seu nome vetado pelos senadores por 38 a 35. Eram necessários pelo menos 41 votos para que a indicação fosse aprovada. A rejeição pode ser um sinal de que Lula terá dificuldades em emplacar um nome para a vaga atualmente em aberto de ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal.

Bate boca – Na reunião da Comissão de Justiça da Alepe esta semana, o clima ficou tenso com a discórdia entre o deputado Antônio Moraes, presidente da Comissão, e a deputada Débora Almeida sobre projeto dela que pede o fim da comercialização de adubo orgânico que atrai as chamadas moscas de estábulo e provocam a perda do rebanho. Visivelmente exaltada, ela chegou a acusar Antônio Moraes de estar levantando falsos e suposições enquanto o deputado Antônio de Moraes acusou ela de estar sendo radical. “O único radicalismo aqui é o seu”, disse Antônio Moraes encerrando a sessão.
