João Campos fortalecido para a reeleição 

Prestes a completar três anos de gestão, o prefeito João Campos vivencia o melhor momento desde quando assumiu o principal cargo do Recife. Todos os levantamentos apontam uma aprovação de cerca de 70%, mas não é o único indicador aferido pelos institutos de pesquisa, o índice de intenção de votos também mostra o prefeito disparado com pouca margem de votos para a oposição, não tendo nenhum adversário efetivamente competitivo.

O socialista chega na véspera de buscar a reeleição num ambiente parecido com o que seu pai chegou em 2009 quando iria tentar a reeleição para o governo de Pernambuco em 2010. Naquela ocasião, mesmo enfrentando um adversário respeitado e com serviços prestados a Pernambuco, que era Jarbas Vasconcelos, Eduardo Campos obteve quase 84% dos votos válidos, números que o credenciaram para disputar a presidência da República em 2014.

Na disputa pela prefeitura do Recife, João Campos tem a missão de desbancar João Paulo, prefeito eleito em primeiro turno com a maior margem de votos da história do Recife em 2004, quando se reelegeu com 56% dos votos válidos. Se conquistar um desempenho superior a João Paulo, João Campos se consolida para almejar o Palácio do Campo das Princesas em 2026.

O prefeito, além dos bons índices de intenção de voto e aprovação, também ostenta resultados extraordinários nas redes sociais, sendo um dos políticos com maior engajamento do Brasil. Essa confluência de fatores sinaliza para um fortalecimento da liderança política do socialista, que aponta para o futuro de Pernambuco e do Brasil pelas próximas décadas.

Sivaldo Albino – Com um volume de recursos obtidos junto ao deputado federal Felipe Carreras, o prefeito de Garanhuns, Sivaldo Albino (PSB), conseguiu imprimir um ritmo acelerado de entregas, transformando a cidade num canteiro de obras. Sivaldo está prestes a encerrar 2023 sob forte perspectiva de reeleição em 2024.

Encontro – A ex-deputada estadual Roberta Arraes e o ex-prefeito de Araripina, Alexandre Arraes, terão encontro nesta segunda-feira com o ministro dos Portos e Aeroportos, Silvio Costa Filho, para tratar de demandas do Araripe junto à pasta do ministro.

Suape – Em solo pernambucano, o ministro Silvio Costa Filho estará juntamente com a governadora Raquel Lyra para prestigiar o lançamento de um novo terminal de cargas para o Porto de Suape. O evento acontecerá nesta segunda-feira a partir das 9:30 horas no próprio Porto.

Fórum – O Município de Jaboatão dos Guararapes se prepara para o Fórum Jaboatão 450 Anos, parte do Circuito Urbano da ONU Habitat Brasil 2023, visando cidades mais justas e inclusivas. O evento começa em 16 de outubro de 2023, presencial e transmitido online, com palestras e oficinas das 9h às 17h até 19 de outubro.
