Os desafios de Daniel Coelho
Considerado um excelente candidato nas duas vezes em que disputou a prefeitura do Recife, Daniel Coelho deixou a secretaria de Turismo para tentar pela terceira vez o comando da capital pernambucana. Por ser o nome escolhido pela governadora Raquel Lyra, Daniel terá a responsabilidade dobrada de ter um bom desempenho. Ele auferiu o apoio de partidos como PSD, PP, Podemos, PSDB e Cidadania, legendas que estão na base da governadora, garantindo-lhe um expressivo tempo de televisão.
Por mais que se saiba do favoritismo de João Campos, a oposição quer evitar uma vitória acachapante do socialista e consequentemente chegar ao segundo turno. No caso de Daniel, esse desafio se amplifica porque ele terá um adversário extremamente competitivo nesta tentativa de polarização com o prefeito, que é o ex-ministro Gilson Machado, pré-candidato do PL, que tentará atrair o eleitorado bolsonarista para a sua postulação.
Daniel Coelho já não é mais a novidade de 2012, quando quase trincava a hegemonia da Frente Popular, mas indiscutivelmente é um nome que não pode ser menosprezado. Caso atinja dois dígitos ou chegue ao segundo turno, ainda que não vença a disputa, poderá ter cumprido um papel importante para a governadora Raquel Lyra com vistas a 2026, defendendo as realizações do seu governo e tentando desmistificar o sentimento crescente de que João Campos realiza uma gestão acima da média na capital pernambucana.
Licença-paternidade – A Câmara dos Deputados instalou, ontem, a Frente Parlamentar pela Licença-Paternidade. O deputado federal Pedro Campos é o secretário executivo do grupo, que pretende avançar com a regulamentação da licença paternidade no país. O direito é previsto na Constituição Federal, mas há quase 36 anos não é efetivo aos brasileiros. Após provocação do Supremo Tribunal Federal em dezembro de 2023, através de Ação Direta de Inconstitucionalidade por Omissão Legislativa, o Congresso tem menos de 18 meses para legislar sobre a questão.
Permitido – O Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), por sete votos a quatro, negou o pedido feito pelo Partido Socialista Brasileiro (PSB) para que fosse declarada a impossibilidade de parentes de até segundo grau ocuparem, ao mesmo tempo, a Presidência das Casas Legislativas (federal, estadual, distrital e municipal) e do Poder Executivo local.
Anistia – A presidente da CCJ da Câmara, deputada Caroline de Toni (PL-SC), escolheu o deputado Rodrigo Valadares (União Brasil-SE) como relator do projeto de lei que trata da anistia aos condenados pelos atos golpistas de 8 de janeiro. De Toni destacou o conhecimento jurídico de Valadares e sua experiência com casos de condenados pela invasão das sedes dos três Poderes. Ela planeja pautar o tema na comissão antes do recesso parlamentar, que começa em 18 de julho.
Próximo presidente – A ex-primeira-dama Michelle Bolsonaro disse desconfiar das “antecipações exageradas” sobre as eleições de 2026 que a colocam como favorita entre os eleitores de Jair Bolsonaro. Ela afirmou que Bolsonaro está “mais ativo do que nunca” e acredita que ele será o próximo presidente.
