A disputa pelo União Brasil

Partido oriundo da fusão entre PSL e Democratas, o União Brasil elegeu 58 deputados federais e tornou-se o terceiro maior partido do país. Em 2022 disputou o governo de Pernambuco com o ex-prefeito de Petrolina, Miguel Coelho, mas em 2024 não deverá ter candidato próprio na capital pernambucana.

No Recife, o partido é presidido pelo deputado federal Mendonça Filho, que não tem sinalizado disposição de disputar as eleições municipais, então há uma expectativa de qual caminho a legenda trilhará. O clã Coelho passou a integrar a gestão de João Campos com a indicação de Antônio Coelho para a secretaria de Turismo, e tem advogado pela aliança com o socialista.

Aliado da governadora Raquel Lyra, Mendonça nutre uma relação próxima com o Palácio do Campo das Princesas, o que cria uma expectativa sobre o destino do União Brasil, se alinhará com a reeleição de João Campos, se optará por Daniel Coelho ou lançará uma candidatura própria.

Tendo o comando do partido na capital pernambucana, Mendonça torna-se ator estratégico nesta equação, uma vez que o tempo de televisão do União Brasil seria determinante para fortalecer o projeto majoritário das duas forças que antagonizam em Pernambuco na capital pernambucana.

Então, após o imbróglio envolvendo a mudança de comando do partido nacionalmente, a expectativa recai sobre o destino do União Brasil no Recife, pois terá papel determinante para o desenho da eleição deste ano com desdobramentos práticos para 2026.

Stanford – O deputado federal Mendonça Filho participa de um seminário na Universidade de Stanford na Califórnia, nos Estados Unidos, para palestrar sobre o novo ensino médio. Quando ministro da Educação, Mendonça fez uma verdadeira revolução na área e tornou-se referência no tema.

Prefeito em exercício – O deputado estadual Rodrigo Farias (PSB) usou a tribuna da Alepe para elogiar a gestão do prefeito em exercício do Recife, desembargador Ricardo Paes Barreto. Em discurso, destacou que o presidente do TJPE escolheu ir para as ruas conhecer as dores do povo e não ficar no conforto do gabinete.

Odontologia – O superintendente de Saúde da Alepe, Wildy Ferreira, esteve reunido com o deputado federal Gaguim e o deputado federal Guilherme Uchôa para tratar das pautas envolvendo a odontologia pernambucana. Durante sua agenda, ele participou da solenidade em homenagem ao CFO na Câmara dos Deputados.

Governadora – A governadora em exercício, Priscila Krause, esteve no Palácio do Planalto para o anúncio de investimentos em energias renováveis ao lado do presidente Lula. Pernambuco receberá uma quantia vultosa de novos investimentos para ampliação do setor.

Bonito – O pré-candidato a prefeito de Bonito, Ademir Alves, esteve reunido com o presidente nacional do MDB, deputado Baleia Rossi. Ele esteve acompanhado do senador Fernando Dueire. O partido garantiu irrestrito apoio ao seu projeto majoritário.
