Em discurso no seminário da Associação Municipalista de Pernambuco(Amupe), realizado nesta segunda-feira (11), o ministro Silvio Costa Filho assegurou muito trabalho por parte do Governo Lula em prol das cidades pernambucanas. O titular da pasta de Portos e Aeroportos participou do evento, em Gravatá, junto à governadora Raquel Lyra, deputados estaduais, federais, prefeitos de mandato, secretários e os novos gestores que tomarão posse em 1º de janeiro de 2025.

“Trago aqui um abraço do presidente Lula, que vai continuar trabalhando muito ao longo desses dois anos para fortalecer a pauta municipalista. O futuro do Brasil não está apenas em Brasília, mas, sobretudo, nos nosso municípios, onde nós temos os maiores problemas de ordem social. É a falta de creche, de um posto de saúde, de um saneamento, de asfalto. Eu sou um municipalista convicto! Se tem uma categoria no Brasil que merece todo apoio da sociedade, são os nossos prefeitos e as nossas prefeitas. Por isso, governadora, que a gente precisa cada vez mais trabalhar conjuntamente para ajudar Pernambuco. É hora de unidade para ajudar nossos prefeitos”, destacou Silvio Costa Filho.

O ministro de Lula se comprometeu a levar uma comissão da Amupe para reunião com ministro da Fazenda, Fernando Haddad, para tratar da implementação da PEC que autoriza o reparcelamento das dívidas previdenciárias dos municípios. “Porque isso dará um fôlego aos municípios. Na Câmara Federal, eu fui o relator dessa matéria. E ela foi muito benéfica para que a gente pudesse avançar nessa pauta”, pontuou Silvio.

Em seguida, o ministro elencou as parcerias entre o os governos federal e estadual em prol dos municípios. “É a duplicação da 423, que será fundamental para o desenvolvimento do agreste; a conclusão da 104; o início do projeto de duplicação da 232. São obras estratégicas na área de infraestrutura, os mais de 15 mil
Habitacionais do Minha Casa, Minha Vida. Quero que a gente possa trabalhar para ir ao ministro Camilo Santana, da Educação, para que a gente possa trazer mais centros de formação para duas regiões importantes, a Mata Norte e o Sertão de Itaparica”, ressaltou Costa Filho, que seguiu enaltecendo as parcerias, a exemplo do novo Aeroporto de Caruaru.

“O Aeroporto de Caruaru será fundamental para o desenvolvimento do agreste. Essa obra vai mudar significativamente o turismo dessa região. A gente tem feito isso em parceria com o Governo do Estado. Essa obra já está no PAC; serão R$ 75 milhões do Estado e R$ 75 milhões do Governo Federal. Essa obra será licitada pela governadora Raquel Lyra para que a gente possa fazer essa entrega ao povo de Pernambuco e possa sonhar com voos saindo de Caruaru para São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília; de várias regiões do estado”, salientou Silvio Costa Filho.
