O deputado federal Eduardo da Fonte participou, neste sábado (1º), do 19º Congresso da União de Mocidade das Assembleias de Deus em Santa Cruz do Capibaribe (Umadesc), ao lado do deputado estadual Pastor Adalto Santos e do ex-prefeito de Toritama Edilson Tavares.
O evento, que acontece entre os dias 28 de fevereiro e 4 de março, tem como tema “Incendiados” e se destaca como uma alternativa para os jovens durante o período carnavalesco, promovendo comunhão, louvor e crescimento espiritual.
Também estiveram presentes o vereador de Santa Cruz do Capibaribe Carlinhos da Cohab, o vice-prefeito de Toritama, Gil Custódio, o presbítero da Igreja Evangélica Assembleia de Deus em Pernambuco (IEADPE) Emanoel Estanislau e o diretor de Relações Institucionais do DETRAN, Bruno Santos.
Durante o evento, o diretor da IEADPE expressou sua gratidão pela presença do deputado Eduardo da Fonte. “A nossa gratidão ao deputado federal e também nosso amigo Eduardo da Fonte. Foi muito bom tê-lo conosco nesta noite, é sempre uma alegria recebê-lo em nosso meio”, afirmou.
O parlamentar celebrou o momento. “Foi uma noite abençoada, de conexão com Deus. Ver tantos jovens reunidos em fé e propósito é inspirador. A Umadesc faz um trabalho fundamental ao fortalecer a espiritualidade e os valores da nossa juventude”, destacou Eduardo da Fonte.
