Ao lado de Raquel Lyra, prefeito Rodrigo Pinheiro beneficia 190 crianças do Fernando Lyra, com a inauguração da creche Márcia Lyra

Maio poderia ser chamado como o mês da Educação, em 2024, em Caruaru. Nele, o prefeito Rodrigo Pinheiro já realizou as entregas das requalificações das escolas municipais Santa Inês e João XXIII, na zona rural, e do Centro de Formação de Profissionais da Educação, na sede da Secretaria Municipal de Educação e Esportes. E, na manhã desta sexta-feira (31), fechando o período citado, o chefe do Executivo, juntamente com a governadora de Pernambuco, Raquel Lyra, fez a inauguração do Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil Márcia Lyra.

O novo CMEI fica localizado no loteamento Fernando Lyra, no bairro Universitário, com capacidade para atender 190 crianças, dos quatro meses até os seis anos de vida, matriculadas do berçário ao Pré II, no período integral. O investimento do governo Rodrigo Pinheiro vem a atender a uma antiga solicitação dos moradores do Fernando Lyra, que havia anos, que sonhavam com a construção de uma unidade do tipo.

A construção do espaço teve início, em janeiro de 2023, com finalização neste mês de maio. “Estamos fazendo um governo para todos, atendendo a demandas históricas da nossa Educação e proporcionando melhores condições de vida à população. Com a inauguração do CMEI Márcia Lyra, cumprimos mais um grande investimento, que modificará a realidade de centenas de estudantes do Fernando Lyra e de comunidades adjacentes. Com a parceria firmada junto à governadora Raquel Lyra faremos ainda mais em prol da Educação caruaruense!”, comemorou o prefeito Rodrigo Pinheiro.

O novo CMEI leva o nome em homenagem à tia da governadora Raquel Lyra e esposa do ex-ministro da Justiça, Fernando Lyra. Durante a inauguração, familiares dela também prestaram as suas homenagens, nas suas respectivas falas. “O prefeito Rodrigo Pinheiro está de parabéns pela bela homenagem prestada à tia Márcia, um ser humano que tanto se dedicou ao bem-estar do próximo em vida. Aqui ainda assinamos o convênio que permitirá, pela primeira vez, que um município pernambucano receba o financiamento do Estado para operação de creche, no seu primeiro ano de atuação. Tal medida foi aprovada na Assembleia Legislativa de PE e será executada nos demais municípios”, destacou a governadora Raquel Lyra.

O espaço é dotado de pátio coberto e amplo para alimentação e brincadeira, salas climatizadas para alunos, professores e gestor, banheiros para crianças e adultos (masculino e feminino), sala de amamentação, fraldário, almoxarifado, lavanderia, lactário, depósito de lixo orgânico e reciclável, além de despensa, playground e cozinha. O projeto do CMEI Márcia Lyra foi executado de acordo com o padrão disponibilizado pelo Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação.
