Anchieta Patriota sairá para deputado estadual.

O secretário-executivo de assuntos especiais da Secretaria das Cidades Anchieta Patriota, ex-prefeito de Carnaíba, será candidato a deputado estadual pelo PSB representando o sertão do Pajeú nas eleições do ano que vem.

Durante o período em que foi prefeito de Carnaíba foi considerado o melhor prefeito de Pernambuco, recebendo quase unanimidade na aprovação popular e vários títulos de órgãos internacionais sob o ponto de vista da gestão, da educação, da saúde, etc.

Agora Anchieta tem um novo desafio: se tornar o deputado estadual da região que compreende as cidades de Carnaíba, Afogados da Ingazeira, Tabira, Solidão, Flores, São José do Egito, Tuparetama, Brejinho, Santa Terezinha e outras cidades do entorno da cidade que governou.

Para ser viável no PSB, que deverá disputar num chapão, Anchieta precisará de aproximadamente 40 mil votos. A sua eleição é importante porque o Pajeú está carente de representantes na Assembleia Legislativa de Pernambuco. A maioria dos eleitos não são daquela região e quando são, representam setores de cidades desenvolvidas como Serra Talhada por exemplo.

Para federal, Anchieta deverá dobrar com o titular da Secretaria das Cidades Danilo Cabral (PSB). O ex-prefeito, que é médico, sempre foi um aliado fiel do governador Eduardo Campos e ao seu avô Miguel Arraes. Inclusive foi candidato a vice-governador na chapa de Dilton da Conti em 2002 contra Jarbas Vasconcelos para contribuir com o PSB no momento em que o partido estava na oposição.
