Alepe promove passeio ciclístico com circuito Frei Caneca

As vagas são gratuitas e serão preenchidas por ordem de inscrição online

A Assembleia Legislativa de Pernambuco (Alepe) promove no próximo domingo (28/04)) a segunda edição do passeio ciclístico PedalAlepe que tem como tema os 200 anos da Confederação do Equador. O evento faz parte das comemorações do aniversário de 189 anos da Assembleia e mostrará, nos 7,7 quilômetros de trajeto, locais e prédios históricos que marcaram o movimento revolucionário de lutas libertárias liderado por Frei Caneca em 1824, em Pernambuco.

A concentração do PedalAlepe está marcada para às 8h, na Rua da Aurora, em frente ao Museu Palácio Joaquim Nabuco, com saída prevista para às 9 horas. No local, serão distribuídos kits para os participantes mediante doação de um quilo de alimento não perecível. O PedalAlepe também será marcado por sorteio de 10 bicicletas.

As inscrições são gratuitas e estão abertas ao público a partir desta segunda-feira (22/04). Estão disponíveis 2.500 vagas que serão preenchidas por ordem de inscrição. Os interessados podem se inscrever pelo link https://www.even3.com.br/pedalalepe2024/.

O circuito Frei Caneca terá oito pontos localizados ao longo do percurso em endereços que serão identificados por totens ilustrativos com explicações de cada local. Durante o trajeto, os participantes passarão, por exemplo, pelo Arquivo Público (prédio onde Frei Caneca passou seus últimos dias), pela Igreja Nossa Senhora do Carmo (onde o religioso foi ordenado sacerdote e onde, acredita-se, esteja o túmulo do religioso), e o Forte das Cinco Pontas (onde Frei Caneca foi morto a tiros).

Para garantir segurança e conforto aos participantes, a Alepe disponibilizará equipamentos de apoio, oficina volante e suporte como ambulância, banheiros químicos, lixeiras, além de três pontos de distribuição de água ao longo do circuito.
