Advogado especialista em direito eleitoral, Dr. Emílio Duarte concedeu entrevista ao programa ‘Cidade em Foco’, da Rede Pernambuco de Rádios (RPR) e ao Blog do Alberes Xavier. Ele fez uma avaliação do primeiro mês de Ingrid Zanella a frente da Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil em Pernambuco (OAB-PE).
“Não votei na presidente Ingrid Zanella, mas ela ganhou a eleição e é a presidente, a representante da minha classe, portanto, quero que ela acerte. Sei que é pouco tempo de mandato, mas vejo que ela já deu sinais de que está trabalhando para cumprir as promessas de campanha e os acordos que foram fechados. Isso é um sinal positivo para a sociedade e para a advocacia pernambucana”, disse ele.
Dr. Emílio falou ainda sobre quais prioridades ele apontaria para a presidente neste começo de mandato. “A defesa intransigente das prerrogativas do advogado, afinal de contas, nenhum advogado deve ter suas prerrogativas impedidas. Defendo também que seja colocada em prática uma política de assistência social voltada para advogados do agreste e do sertão do estado, onde a realidade ainda é a falta de inclusão e oportunidades, principalmente para os advogados recém-formados”.
