Lula e presidente da Colômbia conversam por telefone sobre impasse após eleição na Venezuela

Telefonema entre petista e Gustavo Petro ocorre um dia após saída do presidente do México, López Obrador, do grupo de países que discute crise venezuelana.

O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) e o presidente da Colômbia, Gustavo Petro, conversaram nesta quarta-feira (14), por telefone, sobre o impasse gerado após as eleições da Venezuela, contestadas por outros países e organismos internacionais.

O telefonema ocorre um dia após o presidente do México, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, anunciar que – pelo menos por enquanto – não discutirá mais sobre a crise venezuelana com Lula e Petro.

O mandatário mexicano decidiu suspender qualquer contato enquanto o Tribunal Supremo de Justiça da Venezuela (TSJ) não emite um posicionamento sobre o pleito.

Na avaliação de fontes da diplomacia brasileira, a saída mexicana da trinca de países que busca uma solução “desemperra” as tratativas.

Antes de o México deixar as negociações, o trio de países divulgou nota conjunta em que pedem divulgação das atas eleitorais pela Venezuela e a solução pelas “vias institucionais”.

A Venezuela mergulhou em um impasse político e social após o Conselho Nacional Eleitoral (CNE) ter declarado o atual presidente, Nicolás Maduro, reeleito na eleição de domingo (28).

Mas a oposição alega fraude e afirma que o vencedor foi o candidato oposicionista Edmundo González. Não só a oposição, mas também o governo de outros países — como a Argentina e o Chile — e organismos internacionais apontam irregularidades no pleito e não reconheceram o resultado.

Vieira vai a Bogotá

A previsão inicial era de um telefonema entre os dois presidentes nesta terça (13), mas problemas na agenda de Petro impediram a ligação.

Também nesta quarta, o ministro das Relações Exteriores do Brasil, Mauro Vieira, embarca para Bogotá. Antes da viagem, ele acompanhou a ligação entre Lula e Petro.

Nesta quinta-feira (15), Vieira vai se reunir com o chanceler colombiano, Luis Gilberto Murillo, também para tratar sobre Venezuela e definir os próximos passos de uma estratégia conjunta.
