Em Garanhuns, governadora Raquel Lyra participa da inauguração de subestação que vai ampliar fornecimento de energia a cerca de 60 mil habitantes

Empreendimento vai beneficiar moradores dos municípios de Garanhuns, Brejão e São João

A governadora Raquel Lyra e a sua vice, Priscila Krause, participaram, nesta quarta-feira (31), em Garanhuns, no Agreste Meridional, da inauguração da Subestação Mundaú, que vai ampliar a oferta de energia ao setor produtivo. Com investimento total de mais de R$ 27 milhões pela Neoenergia Pernambuco, o empreendimento vai beneficiar aproximadamente 60 mil pessoas nas cidades de Garanhuns, Brejão e São João. A nova unidade vai promover mais qualidade, confiabilidade e continuidade no fornecimento energético para as localidades. Na ocasião, a governadora descerrou a placa de inauguração da subestação e visitou o novo espaço.

“A Neoenergia vem aqui com o seu compromisso, pactuado com o Governo de Pernambuco e com a população do nosso Estado, investindo no fortalecimento da nossa rede elétrica, da capacidade de transmissão de energia e de estabilidade no fornecimento dessa energia. E isso vem sendo feito em todo Pernambuco, fomentando e garantindo mais infraestrutura para todas as regiões de desenvolvimento do nosso Estado, com os nossos arranjos produtivos”, destacou a governadora Raquel Lyra.

Com a incorporação da nova estrutura e reforço do sistema elétrico, as cidades do Agreste estarão ainda mais preparadas para receber novos empreendimentos de diversos segmentos econômicos, sejam grandes parques industriais ou empresas de médio porte. A subestação integra o ciclo de investimentos de R$ 5,1 bilhões da Neoenergia em Pernambuco até 2028, anunciado em abril deste ano.

O presidente da Neoenergia Pernambuco, Saulo Cabral, enfatizou a importância da nova subestação para o setor produtivo, como a atividade agropecuária. “A subestação beneficia não só aqui, o município de Garanhuns, mas também um trecho do Agreste, na medida em que fornece mais capacidade de energia e, como o vetor de todo o desenvolvimento que a energia é, traz a capacidade de novos empreendimentos se instalarem”, afirmou.

A Subestação Mundaú está construída em uma área de aproximadamente 10 mil metros quadrados e está ligada a três linhas de subtransmissão, que reforçarão o sistema elétrico da região. A potência inicial da unidade é de 20 MVA, mas com a possibilidade de chegar a 53,2 MVA. A nova subestação está dotada de equipamentos com tecnologia de ponta e automatização, que permitem o monitoramento e a gestão do empreendimento à distância, diretamente do Centro de Operações Integradas (COI), no Recife.

Estiveram na agenda os secretários da Casa Civil, Túlio Vilaça, e de Mobilidade e Infraestrutura, Diogo Bezerra, além do presidente da Agência de Desenvolvimento Econômico de Pernambuco (Adepe), André Teixeira Filho. Também estavam presentes Pablo Andrade, superintendente de Operações da Neoenergia, e Érica Ferreira, superintendente de relacionamento com clientes da Neoenergia.
