Nesta terça-feira (23), foi assinado o Acordo de Cooperação Técnica – ACT, que garante o armamento funcional da Guarda Municipal de Camaragibe, entre a Prefeitura Municipal, na pessoa da prefeita, Doutora Nadegi, e do superintendente da Polícia Federal de Pernambuco, Antônio de Pádua.
O acordo permite ao município definir o Plano de Trabalho, como exames psicológicos e capacitação de tiro, para a efetivação do Porte de Arma Funcional para a GCM Camaragibe. Com isso, Camaragibe avança na área de segurança e se torna a terceira cidade da Região Metropolitana a armar a Guarda Municipal, seguindo a Lei Federal 13.022 de 8 de agosto de 2014.
Estavam presentes também no ato da assinatura o secretário de Segurança Pública de Camaragibe, Coronel Marcílio Rossini, o comandante da Guarda Municipal, Clóvis Gomes, a corregedora Edila Vila Chan e os inspetores Dedivaldo Genuíno e Edson Silva, que também é comandante da brigada ROMU.
O secretário de Segurança Pública, Coronel Marcílio Rossini, destacou o importante papel de articulação da gestão para que esse momento acontecesse. “Desde 2014, com o advento da Lei 13.022, a Guarda já poderia estar armada, porém, nada foi feito. Hoje, no entanto, através do empenho e articulações da gestão de Doutora Nadegi, conseguimos concretizar esse grande marco para a segurança pública de Camaragibe”, pontuou.
O Comandante da GCM, Clóvis Gomes, agradeceu pela conquista que há tanto era necessária. “Em nome de todos os Guardas Municipais de Camaragibe, agradecemos à gestão e todos os profissionais que contribuíram direta e indiretamente pelo armamento da GCM. Desta forma, poderemos promover uma maior segurança aos munícipes”, afirmou.
“O compromisso com a segurança dos nossos munícipes é uma pauta que abraçamos desde o primeiro dia da gestão. Por isso, após ouvirmos as demandas da população, através dos Conselhos Comunitários de Segurança, entendemos a necessidade de garantir que a nossa Guarda estivesse devidamente equipada. Hoje conseguimos implementar o armamento da nossa GCM, um feito importante que visa dar mais proteção aos camaragibenses”, concluiu a prefeita, Doutora Nadegi.
