Farra dos combustíveis na Prefeitura de São José do Egito

O vereador Albérico Tiago fez uma grave denúncia sobre os gastos excessivos com combustíveis pela Prefeitura de São José do Egito. De acordo com o vereador, apesar de ter uma frota menor que a cidade vizinha de Afogados da Ingazeira, São José do Egito gastou cinco vezes mais em combustíveis nos anos de 2022 e 2023 – cerca de R$ 11 milhões, enquanto Afogados da Ingazeira pagou de combustíveis, no mesmo período e com uma frota maior, cerca de R$ 2 milhões e 300 mil reais.

O vereador tem levado essa denúncia a público, utilizando a tribuna da Câmara Municipal e participando de programas de rádio local. Ele enfatiza a discrepância nos gastos como um indicativo de má gestão e possivelmente de irregularidades na administração dos recursos públicos.

Em resposta às denúncias, o prefeito Evandro, em entrevista a um programa de rádio, justificou que os gastos com gasolina devem aumentar. Ele não detalhou os motivos específicos para esse aumento, mas sua declaração sugere que a tendência de altos custos com combustíveis na prefeitura de São José do Egito continuará nos próximos anos.

O vereador Alberico Tiago aponta que continuará pressionando por maior transparência e controle nos gastos públicos, ressaltando a importância de uma gestão eficiente e responsável dos recursos da cidade. “A população de São José do Egito aguarda esclarecimentos e medidas que possam justificar e, se necessário, corrigir os elevados gastos com combustíveis”, disse Tiago.
