Fortalecimento político 

A mudança de rumo do União Brasil nacional que levou Antônio Rueda à presidência da legenda poderá trazer desdobramentos em Pernambuco com o horizonte de mudança de comando na estadual. Atualmente presidido por Marcos Amaral, cujo mandato vai até 2027, o União Brasil Pernambuco poderá sofrer uma intervenção capitaneada por Antônio Rueda.

O movimento, que teria a anuência dos deputados federais Fernando Filho e Mendonça Filho, levaria o ex-prefeito de Petrolina, Miguel Coelho, que foi candidato a governador em 2022, ao posto de presidente estadual da legenda. Aliado do prefeito João Campos após romper com a governadora Raquel Lyra, Miguel Coelho voltaria ao jogo majoritário de 2026, desta vez sob a perspectiva de dirigente partidário.

Liderado pelo ex-senador Fernando Bezerra Coelho, o clã petrolinense nunca conseguiu o protagonismo necessário por não ter o controle de uma legenda, inclusive a própria construção do projeto majoritário de Miguel em 2022 ficou comprometido por não ter o comando de um partido. Então, se confirmando este movimento, Miguel Coelho tornar-se-á um player majoritário para 2026, sendo uma alternativa tanto para o Senado quanto para disputar o governo de Pernambuco pela Frente Popular.

Diálogo – Em audiência pública realizada na Comissão de Relações Exteriores e Defesa Nacional da Câmara, o deputado federal Pedro Campos teceu elogios ao ministro da Defesa, José Múcio Monteiro, por sua condução dos trabalhos à frente da pasta. Em suas redes, o parlamentar elogiou o empenho, seriedade e firmeza do ministro para construir os consensos necessários para o Brasil avançar pelo caminho republicano e democrático. “Múcio nos ensina, diariamente, a utilizar o diálogo como arma para fortalecer a nossa democracia e a nossa nação”, afirmou.

Vice – O projeto do presidente Lula em implacar um nome para vice, na chapa de João Campos, não significa que esse nome seja do PT. A nota do deputado federal Clodoaldo Magalhães, defendendo que o nome seja da Federação, amplia o escopo para o PV e até para o PC do B. Existe a possibilidade de Clodoaldo ocupar esse posto ou, ainda, o deputado estadual Gilmar Júnior, líder de votos em Pernambuco e em Recife. Gilmar tem trajetória ilibada na Alepe e já teve o nome cotado há alguns meses.

Relator – O deputado federal Augusto Coutinho (Republicanos/PE) foi designado como relator do Projeto de Lei Complementar 12/2024, de autoria do Poder Executivo, que trata da regulamentação dos aplicativos de transporte. A relatoria foi definida nesta quarta-feira (17/04), pela Câmara dos Deputados. “Nosso objetivo será abrir o diálogo com a sociedade e chegar a um formato de consenso, que sirva aos cerca de dois milhões de profissionais envolvidos, mas não inviabilize este serviço que se tornou parte da vida diária dos brasileiros”, explicou o deputado, que vai relatar a matéria na Comissão de Indústria, Comércio e Serviços da Câmara.

    Astronomers have spotted the most massive known stellar black hole in the Milky Way galaxy after detecting an unusual wobble in space.

    The so-called “sleeping giant,” named Gaia BH3, has a mass that is nearly 33 times that of our sun, and it’s located 1,926 light-years away in the Aquila constellation, making it the second-closest known black hole to Earth.     Astronomers discovered the black hole while combing through observations taken by European Space Agency’s Gaia space telescope for an upcoming data release to the scientific community. The researchers weren’t expecting to find anything, but a peculiar motion — caused by Gaia BH3’s gravitational influence on a nearby companion — caught their eye.

    Many “dormant” black holes don’t have a companion close enough to munch on, so they are much more difficult to spot and don’t generate any light. But other stellar black holes siphon material from companion stars, and this exchange of matter releases bright X-rays that can be spotted through telescopes.
    The wobbling movement of an old giant star in the Aquila constellation revealed that it was in an orbital dance with a dormant black hole, and it’s the third such dormant black hole spotted by Gaia.

    The researchers used the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope in Chile’s Atacama Desert and other ground-based observatories to confirm the mass of Gaia BH3, and their study has also offered new clues to how such huge black holes came to be. The findings appeared Tuesday in the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics.

    “No one was expecting to find a high-mass black hole lurking nearby, undetected so far,” said lead study author Pasquale Panuzzo, an astronomer at the Observatoire de Paris, part of France’s National Centre for Scientific Research, and a Gaia collaboration member, in a statement. “This is the kind of discovery you make once in your research life.”
