Em Vitória, UBS de Doutor Alvinho é entregue e passa a contar com atendimento pediátrico

O bairro de Doutor Alvinho, na área urbana da Vitória de Santo Antão, foi agraciado com uma nova Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS), nesta segunda-feira (15). O ato de entrega contou com a presença do prefeito Paulo Roberto, acompanhado de lideranças comunitárias, o vice-prefeito Edmo Neves, vereadores, da deputada federal Iza Arruda e o ex-prefeito Elias Lira. A partir de agora, o local contará com dentistas e auxiliares, enfermeiras, sala de vacina, acompanhamento de gestante, atendimentos pediátricos, entre outros serviços.

O posto faz parte do UBS+, que se diferencia por ter atendimentos além do convencional. Vanessa Pimentel, secretária executiva de Saúde, explicou. “É uma unidade que conta com todos os serviços comuns existentes em nossa cidade, mas se diferencia por contar com pediatra e um professor para dar aula de futebol às crianças da comunidade. É uma forma mais humanizada de lidar com os moradores da área”, reforçou.

O equipamento também rememora a história de um vitoriense do passado: o dentista Gilson Marcos Ferrer de Morais. O profissional se tornou bem quisto em sua época por tratar seus pacientes com o mesmo prestígio, dedicando sempre solidariedade aos mais pobres. “Estou muito emocionada com a lembrança prestada a ele. Ter o seu nome eternizado aqui neste local é motivo de grande emoção, porque era uma pessoa de bom coração, que tratava todo mundo igual”, comentou a viúva do homenageado, Neide Ferrer.

Muito emocionado, o prefeito Paulo Roberto teceu comentários à equipe que participou da obra e relembrou sua vivência na comunidade quando ainda jovem. “Tudo isso aqui foi feito com muito cuidado e carinho. Todos que se moveram para deixar a unidade pronta, estão de parabéns. Eu vivi parte de minha vida andando por aqui, lembro das enchentes, do sofrimento, e hoje me sinto muito emocionado em entregar uma obra que vai beneficiar os de hoje e às futuras gerações”, encerrou.
