Carlos Muniz retorna à Câmara do Recife e garante trabalho em conjunto com a PCR para atender demandas da população

O vereador Carlos Muniz (PSB) retorna à Câmara de Vereadores do Recife após quase três anos e meio ao lado do prefeito João Campos na prefeitura. A pedido do chefe do Executivo, Muniz se licenciou do cargo em janeiro de 2021 para chefiar a secretaria de Governo e Participação Social, pasta que comandou até fevereiro de 2023, quando foi nomeado secretário de Política Urbana e Licenciamento.

O vereador afirmou que vai trabalhar dialogando constantemente com o prefeito João Campos para atender as demandas da população recifense. “Durante todo esse período que estivemos como secretário na Prefeitura do Recife, criamos um relação de muita proximidade e confiança com o prefeito João Campos, sempre trabalhando para beneficiar os moradores da nossa cidade. Juntos, realizamos diversas melhorias, como pavimentação de ruas, construção de escadarias nas comunidades, ordenamento do comércio popular, emissão de títulos de propriedades, entre outros. Seguiremos unidos aqui também na Câmara para fazer ainda mais pelas pessoas”, garantiu Muniz.

Carlos Muniz se desincompatibilizou do cargo para disputar a reeleição à Casa José Mariano. Conhecido como “homem de confiança do prefeito”, o parlamentar também participou da equipe de transição de João Campos, e desponta como um dos principais nomes do Partido Socialista Brasileiro (PSB) para o próximo pleito eleitoral.
