Garanhuns confirma construção do Hospital de Amor em parceria com o Governo Federal

O presidente Lula anunciou o lançamento do novo PAC Seleções, destinando mais de R$ 23 bilhões para a construção de equipamentos públicos em todo o país, com foco em áreas essenciais como saúde, educação, infraestrutura social e urbana, e mobilidade. Em uma parceria com o Governo Federal, o município de Garanhuns se destaca ao viabilizar a construção do ‘Hospital de Amor’, uma referência nacional na prevenção e tratamento de câncer, com diversas unidades espalhadas pelo Brasil.

O ‘Hospital de Amor’, com sua grande rede em todo o país, é reconhecido internacionalmente por sua excelência em tecnologia e cuidado humanizado, contando com mais de 5.300 colaboradores atuando em dezenas de unidades relacionadas à área oncológica. Em Garanhuns, a concretização deste projeto representa um avanço significativo na oferta de serviços de saúde para toda a população do Agreste e interior de Pernambuco.

Para tornar esse sonho realidade, Garanhuns disponibilizou uma área de 25 mil m², atendendo às necessidades do projeto do ‘Hospital de Amor’. Representantes do Governo Federal e do próprio hospital já estiveram na cidade analisando a área oferecida pelo município, demonstrando o compromisso das partes envolvidas com a concretização desse importante empreendimento.

O deputado Felipe Carreras, que apresentou um ofício ao presidente Lula solicitando a construção do hospital, destacou o investimento como um compromisso dos governos municipal e federal com a população de Garanhuns e de Pernambuco. “Reafirmo o compromisso de incluir emenda parlamentar para a construção do hospital”, ressaltou o parlamentar durante sua visita ao município em fevereiro.
