O prazo de João Campos 

Com uma elevada aprovação, João Campos chegou no ano da reeleição voando em céu de brigadeiro com uma expressiva aprovação junto aos recifenses. Apesar disso, ele tem ciência de que não tem nada ganho, e que para confirmar o favoritismo precisará manter uma ampla frente política na busca pelo segundo mandato.

Diversos partidos estão legitimados a indicar o vice de João Campos, dentre eles o PT, o Republicanos e o União Brasil, mas não se descarta a hipótese de um vice da cozinha do prefeito, pois seria determinante para a construção de um projeto futuro em 2026, uma vez que ele teria a segurança de deixar a prefeitura nas mãos de alguém de sua estrita confiança e consumar sua renúncia para disputar o governo de Pernambuco.

Qualquer que seja a decisão, não há motivos para a pressa por parte do prefeito, uma vez que o prazo final seriam as convenções partidárias previstas para agosto. Até lá ele teria as condições políticas de escolher um vice conforme a necessidade do momento.

Antecipar esta discussão, seja de qual partido for, não presta um serviço à Frente Popular, que precisará marchar unida e com o maior número de partidos possível. Enquanto isso, o prefeito irá intensificar os feitos da sua gestão, consolidando a boa imagem perante o eleitorado e chegando cada vez mais fortalecido na busca pelo segundo mandato, cujo resultado será tão importante quanto a escolha do vice para determinar a construção de um projeto estadual em 2026.


Aborto – A lei aprovada pela Câmara de Maceió, que exigia, entre outras medidas, que gestantes visualizassem imagens de fetos antes de realizar um aborto legal na rede pública de saúde da cidade, foi suspensa pelo desembargador Fábio Costa Ferrario, do Tribunal de Justiça de Alagoas. A decisão, emitida em 18 de janeiro, atende a uma solicitação de liminar apresentada no âmbito da ação direta de inconstitucionalidade proposta pela Defensoria Pública do Estado.

Gênero – O Ministério Público Eleitoral participou da primeira de três audiências públicas conduzidas pelo Tribunal Superior Eleitoral para discutir e aprimorar as resoluções que guiarão as Eleições de 2024. O vice-procurador-geral eleitoral, Alexandre Espinosa, destacou o compromisso do MP Eleitoral com o combate à violência política de gênero, enfatizando que será uma prioridade nas eleições deste ano.

Destaque – O presidente da OAB Pernambuco, Fernando Ribeiro Lins, tem se destacado na função ao interiorizar a instituição e fortalecer as prerrogativas dos advogados. Sua gestão é aprovada pelos pares por conta da melhora da presença da instituição em todas as regiões do estado.
