Lula e Silvio fortalecem Brasil no exterior 

O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva e o Ministro de Portos e Aeroportos, Silvio Costa Filho, protagonizaram uma missão diplomática em países asiáticos, destacando-se na Conferência das Nações Unidas sobre Mudanças Climáticas (COP 28) em Dubai. A comitiva passou por Riad, Arábia Saudita; Doha, Catar; e Dubai e Abu Dhabi, nos Emirados Árabes. Durante essa semana, apresentaram projetos visando fortalecer parcerias e atrair investimentos para o Brasil.

No Seminário Empresarial Brasil-Arábia Saudita, Silvio Costa Filho enfatizou o Brasil como uma oportunidade para investimentos estrangeiros, destacando a estabilidade econômica, segurança jurídica e um ambiente favorável aos negócios. A delegação brasileira buscou estreitar relações e discutir um plano estratégico para o Brasil no setor de transportes, energia e investimentos, promovendo o diálogo com o ministro dos Transportes da Arábia Saudita.

A comitiva participou do ‘Fórum Econômico Brasil-Catar Oportunidades de Negócios’, onde Rui Costa, Ministro da Casa Civil, ressaltou o otimismo na economia brasileira, prevendo crescimento do PIB e a criação de empregos. Silvio Costa buscou investimentos nos setores de portos e aeroportos, reunindo-se com representantes do Fundo de Investimentos da Arábia Saudita. Como resultado, a Embraer assinou acordos, expandindo oportunidades de investimento.

O Ministro de Portos, Silvio Costa Filho, enfatizou o compromisso do Governo Federal em investir R$ 1,7 trilhão nos próximos anos no Novo PAC, buscando acelerar o crescimento econômico, gerar empregos e reduzir desigualdades. A missão reforçou o papel central do Brasil na economia mundial, destacando planos para assumir a presidência de organizações como o G20 e a realização da COP 2030 no Estado do Pará.

Compromisso – A governadora Raquel Lyra reafirmou o compromisso de Pernambuco com a preservação da Caatinga durante a Conferência das Nações Unidas sobre Mudanças Climáticas (COP 28) em Dubai. Em encontro com governadores do Nordeste, foi discutida a criação do Fundo Caatinga, uma iniciativa do Consórcio Nordeste e BNDES para preservar esse bioma exclusivamente brasileiro.

Preservação – Pernambuco anunciou investimento de R$ 60 milhões na preservação da Caatinga durante a COP 28. Desse montante, R$ 30 milhões são de recursos próprios, e outros R$ 30 milhões são do BNDES. O estado foi pioneiro ao assinar o Floresta Viva na Caatinga, buscando reverter a degradação de 50% da cobertura vegetal desse bioma.

Destaque – Pernambuco assume papel de destaque na COP 28, destacando-se por anúncios significativos, como o Plano Pernambucano de Mudança Econômico-Ecológica (PerMeie), investimento de R$ 20 milhões em produção de H2V, Estratégia Estadual de Hidrogênio Verde e adesão ao Consórcio Brasil Verde. A governadora Raquel Lyra ressaltou a inédita centralidade do meio ambiente na agenda do desenvolvimento estadual.

Perda – O ex-prefeito de Tabira, Sebastião Dias, faleceu ontem, vítima de uma parada cardíaca. O ex-prefeito também era poeta e ficou marcado na história da cidade como o primeiro prefeito a ser reeleito. O deputado federal Waldemar Oliveira lamentou a partida de Sebastião, que teve grande contribuição com a política no Pajeú e com a cultura pernambucana.
