O vice-governador João Lyra dará posse amanhã (06/5), às 10 horas, em cerimônia no Palácio do Campo das Princesas, aos novos membros do Conselho Estadual de Defesa dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente.
Composto por 14 membros efetivos, sendo 07 (sete) representantes da Sociedade Civil, eleitos por organizações não-governamentais, e 07 (sete) nomeados pelo Governo do Estado, para o mandato de três anos, o conselho tem a missão de formular, coordenar, controlar e fiscalizar a política de atendimento a infância e adolescência do Estado de Pernambuco.
Milhares de crianças e adolescentes têm sido beneficiados com as ações do CEDCA/PE. De 2009 a 2011, mais de 11.100 crianças e adolescentes inseridos em programas e projetos sociais foram beneficiados com recursos do Fundo Estadual de Defesa dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente, gerido pelo Conselho Estadual.
