Corrida ao Senado 

Nem bem terminamos o ano de 2023 para discutir as eleições municipais de 2024, e há uma série de especulações de como se dará a composição majoritária tanto da chapa de reeleição da governadora Raquel Lyra quanto da oposição. Em 2026 serão duas vagas em disputa para o Senado, além dos atuais detentores de mandato, Fernando Dueire e Humberto Costa, diversos nomes movimentam-se de olho nas duas vagas.

O ministro Silvio Costa Filho, o deputado federal Eduardo da Fonte, os ex-prefeitos Anderson Ferreira e Miguel Coelho são alguns dos que estão considerando a hipótese de disputa. Mas pode haver um outro nome no páreo: o ex-senador Armando Monteiro. Duas vezes candidato a governador, Armando teve papel fundamental na construção do projeto vitorioso da governadora Raquel Lyra, sendo um de seus principais fiadores. Ele anunciou que se filiará ao Podemos no próximo dia 13, após ter oficializado a saída do PSDB.

A chegada de Armando ao Podemos fortalece o partido em Pernambuco, que é presidido pelo prefeito de Paudalho, Marcelo Gouveia, e que também tem em seus quadros o ex-deputado federal Ricardo Teobaldo, um dos principais armandistas do estado. O Podemos tentará construir um projeto competitivo em 2024, elegendo prefeitos e vereadores, mas é em 2026 seu principal objetivo, que significará voltar a ter representação na Câmara dos Deputados e eleger uma bancada na Alepe.

A chegada de Armando ao partido o coloca na condição de reivindicar uma das duas vagas ao Senado Federal na chapa de reeleição da governadora Raquel Lyra, uma vez que o Podemos é um dos principais pilares de sustentação da governadora, porém a definição não acontecerá agora, apenas deixa o ex-senador numa condição de postulante majoritário em 2026.

TJPE – O desembargador Ricardo Paes Barreto será o novo presidente do TJPE, ele terá o também desembargador Fausto Campos como vice-presidente, Eduardo Sertório será o segundo vice-presidente e Bandeira de Melo ficará na corregedoria. A eleição está prevista para o próximo dia 6 e a escolha tem tudo para ocorrer de forma consensual.

Mudança – O aceno da governadora Raquel Lyra ao PDT poderá ter desdobramentos diretos em Caruaru. Até então adversários da governadora, o clã Queiroz formado por José e Wolney, silenciaram as críticas à tucana. Nos bastidores, há quem afirme que Raquel Lyra poderá apoiar uma candidatura de Queiroz em Caruaru contra seu sucessor Rodrigo Pinheiro.

Adaptado – Deputado estadual por quatro mandatos, o conselheiro Rodrigo Novaes está bastante adaptado ao TCE. Apesar de ter uma movimentação frenética quando parlamentar, Novaes tem adotado a discrição e se debruçado nos processos que herdou de sua antecessora Teresa Duere.

Republicanos – O ministro dos Portos e Aeroportos, Silvio Costa Filho, incumbiu o presidente estadual do Republicanos, Samuel Andrade, de fortalecer o partido com vistas a 2024. A legenda pretende eleger um número significativo de prefeitos no próximo ano para que o ministro chegue fortalecido na busca por uma vaga ao Senado Federal em 2026.
